rhythm and light

All sorts of good and useful items scrounged this weekend--children's clothes, tools, winter jackets--but for reasons of rhythm, one small item was my favorite. About to head out on a scrounging ride, I notice that one of the bathroom light bulbs has burned out. Ready to ride, I decide I'll replace it later--from my collection of scrounged light bulbs, of course. But at my second dumpster, maybe five minutes into the ride, I discover a discarded lamp with one of those long-lasting light bulbs still in it. Home again, I screw the bulb into the bathroom fixture. It works. Of course.
