Good weekend of high-end scrounging--I won't bore you with all the details--but Saturday, I hit a dumpster that turned out to hold bottles (full or mostly full) of Arpege Lanvin, Coco Chanel Eau de Toilette, Jean Patou Eau de Joy, and Laura Ashley No. 1.
Then Sunday, a Junior Leaguer apparently decided to do some house cleaning--no, really, I'm pretty sure she was a Junior Leaguer, given that her Junior League membership book from last year was among the items she tossed. Wow--what a haul from that one dumpster. But I'll just say this: judging by the prices I've checked on web, the box in which her designer watch was packaged is worth more than any watch I own.
